Day 28

What a difference a day makes. Well today is set to be raining all day in both Whistler and Vancouver which is where we are heading for today. Whistler was such a nice place, it had everything we wanted and hoped for in this holiday, plenty of things to do that suits our needs and all within walking distance, its a shame that the rest of the country was not like Whistler, mind you we would have been broke in about 10 days if it was.
OK pretty un eventful day today just moving on really, only about a 122km drive today to our hotel in Downtown Vancouver is, the Georgian Court Hotel on Beatty St, we arrived at the hotel at about lunch time and made use of the hotels sports bar, so we didn’t get wet at all, it was also nice that it had a underground garage or we would have got soaked checking in.
Lunch was great if not huge but it was exactly what we needed. Afterwards for some reason I was really tired and the ladies wanted to do some washing, so I had 40 winks (more like 400) and the washing got done.
Tonight we are probably going to eat in one of the 2 restaurants in the hotel because it still has not stopped raining plus they look really good, we might even go 10 pin bowling, it got mentioned as something to do when the weather was bad and there is one place 6 blocks away so who knows.
